These sweet covered boxes or "hut" jars as Joyce calls them are great little serving solution for finishing salts, spices, and other final touches on a dish.
Depending on what dish I am serving I like to fill one up with chili flakes, sancho pepper, sumac, or toasted sesame seeds for an easy an elegant final sprinkle.
