Carrot jam has a long and storied history across the Eastern Mediterranean and beyond; known as morabaye havij in Iran and havuç reçeli in Turkey. In these regions, it’s a beloved breakfast staple, spooned onto bread with creamy butter or served alongside tea in the late afternoon. 

Our version nods to those traditions while giving them a bright California twist with quiet sweetness of Nantes carrots and kumquats, that tiny, sunburst fruit that carries the whole citrus spectrum in one bite.
